The Netherlands is one of the Gateways to Europe. The Dutch people are pioneers and influence the boundaries of European Culture. In the past The Dutch brought Christian values that shaped the laws and values of Europe and the US. Dutch Christians influenced and shaped governments , education and healthcare. Today our Christian foundations are being eroded and the Dutch have been responsible for breaking new boundaries in abortion, prostitution, drugs and gender. We feel its time to make a stand for our Christian heritage, to turn the tide. The Dutch people need a new revelation of Gods heart for the world. If we are to disciple nations we need a new encounter with God. In the heart of the Netherlands we want a new wave of worship to open the gates of heaven.
We believe that an extreme generation, warriors of worship, filled with the Holy Spirit can begin to bring restoration and a new hope to the nations of Europe.
Its our desire that through the Impact Festival, that people will experience Gods presence during the times of worship. Its our dream that people will be encouraged through the worship , prayer and prophetic words and to pick up the challenge to go and proclaim and demonstrate Gods kingdom in Europe and beyond.
As Christians it is of vital importance to regularly take time to be in Gods presence, to worship Him , and to listen to His heart for the world. In the bible the tabernacle and temple were places where the Israelites were instructed to gather together at least three times annually, to worship, pray and fellowship together, in Gods presence. As IWT our desire is to facilitate a place where young people and as a YWM family we can gather without an agenda just to be in Gods presence and to enjoy the fellowship of other believers.
The Dutch weather is always very changeable. Check the weather forecast a few days in advance and adjust your clothing and camping gear accordingly; for example, enough water, sun glasses and cream with lots of sun, boots, rain protection in the rain etc. When you come to camp bring everything you need to make it as “comfortable” as possible for yourself. Bring all the supplies you need for your meals. If you are not so fond of cooking; no worries! There is lots of food and coffee for sale at the festival site.
The festival site is open for campers from 3PM on Friday 31st August to set up your tents. The Worship programme begins Friday at 5PM.
The Programme ends on Sunday afternoon at 3PM. The campsite must be cleared by 1PM Monday 2 September.
Yes! Tickets are available at the gate. Check the ticket prices; at the gate you pay more then the online tickets.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Don’t do anything that you think would be irresponsible or disturbing to the other guests.
Be yourself and drink enough water!
You can certainly cook on the camping festival grounds. So take all the stuff you need for your healthy and great meals. It is important to know that there is no electricity. Unfortunately it is not allowed to barbecue and make an open fire.
Ofcourse! There will be several ways to buy delicious meals; for breakfast, lunch, and dinner + we have amazing snacks. Do not forget to make a visit in our ‘gezellige’ coffee corner.
